Latin American strike team complete another successful training session

Aqua-Guard's Latin American strike team complete another successful training session consisting of: 1) The theory of oil spill response in rivers. 2) Hands on training and proper equipment application. 3) Live spill response drill using state of the art oil spill response equipment.

The session consisted of an oil spill response drill in a large Latin America river with demanding and unique conditions.


The training and drill were supervised by three of Aqua-Guard's top Latin American oil spill response technicians.  Participants were from local authorities along with Aqua-Guard’s local agents and allies.


Aqua-Guard’s team along with participants launched oil spill containment boom and an Aqua-Guard RBS-TRITON™ 150 oil skimming system from an oil spill response vessel which followed close behind an oil tanker in this mock exercise.


The total event was rated 10 out of 10 by local authorities and participants.
