Asgaard Navegação, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MLog S.A, and was declared the winner in Petrobras' Peotram Program of Operational Excellence in Air and Maritime Transportation in 2017, repeating last year's performance. The ranking measured numerous performance indicators of 47 Brazilian and foreign shipping companies operating in Brazil in the offshore area.

The audit is performed by an external auditor and comprises of a one year evaluation.

Aqua-Guard's Global Offshore Reach:

As oil exploration continues further offshore, Aqua-Guard's large offshore oil skimming systems (UROs) have been standard equipment onboard OSRVs around the globe for the past 10 years.

Aqua-Guard has had a presence in such offshore markets as Brazil since the mid 1980's.   Aqua-Guard's local technical and service crews are ready at a moments notice to respond to the needs of their many Brazilian clients.

One of the vessels, ASGAARD SOPHIA, has been patrolling offshore waters in Brasil for over 30 months and is complete with an Aqua-Guard URO 300 oil skimming system and oil containment boom.

These vessels are under contract with Petrobras and the URO 300 system is involved in monthly oil spill response drills in order to maintain crew and equipment readiness.

Aqua-Guard's URO systems have the unique ability over the competition by using only a single patented RBS TRITON oil skimming head to recovery a range of light to ultra heavy oils.
